My biggest and warmest hugs, my friend. So sad for you and so sorry for your loss. Very happy for Daisy though, she had you in her life and I know she was loved. So many don’t get that blessing.

She was loved. All should be. It hurts. Thanks Jo.

It is so painful to say goodbye to a dear companion. Daisy looked like a wonderful dog. I know you will miss her v

Thank you all. I’m far more distressed than I imagined. I know I did the right thing but I was so hoping that as they started the surgery they would not find such a huge tumor. The vet euthanized her while she was still under from the started surgery per my wishes. I didn’t want her to choke, and eating and drinking were becoming impossible. Last week she seemed fine.
Your support helps. I know we all go through it, but with so few family left and very few close friends, I become very bonded to my pets.

So, so sorry for your loss. Pets really do bless our lives with the very best they can give, every single day.
