Just Jazzed About The Weekend

Late, late, late, but I arrived at the Zona Resort in Scottsdale where a business-oriented Bloggy Boot Camp starts tomorrow.

I wanted to do something memorable and not too weird to stand out and encourage other attendees to visit my new site, BoomHer.net. So this is what I did:

I have tons of business cards, but for women of a certain age, rather than just give them a card, I punched a hole in one corner of my business card and attached a post card with info and a QR code that takes people to my business site. with info about the other attachments to the business card which are a pencil and a multi-planner social media organizer that I designed to help me keep track of which accounts I've updated and which I will be offering for sale as e-documents that can be printed or filled out as a PDF. The handouts contain a one page planner for the conference, my card, a pencil, and postcard clipped together with mini-clamp and tied with a rafia bow.

I'll let you know how it goes.
