App of the Week Tweek, iPhone5, iOS 6 and More

When I awoke today my heart and soul began to ache when I heard the outrage over Terry Jones promotion of a hate film had spread to Libya, and 4 diplomats and/or diplomatic staff had been killed in an attack on our embassy. This is horrible for so many reasons. But before I could even think about this, I remembered I had to go to the gym to meet with my trainer, Meghan, who really seems to know her stuff, and come back home to monitor the live blog from the Apple Announcement Event scheduled for 10 a.m. I continue onward, but with a bit less glee in my heart than I expected today.

Engadget's live blogging from the Apple Announcement event was wonderful and I highly recommend following the previous sentence's link to get all the details. Engadget is where I got my info from. Next best thing to being there. The techy talky specifications changes are many, seems like almost everything has been enhanced. Everything is supposed to run faster, and better, even if not all aspects of the phone, or system, in question, will be changed in an obvious fashion.

Changes

The iPhone 5 will be taller but stay the same width. More integration with the iCloud will be apparent. Different connector style for charger – argh – again! iPhone is all glass and aluminum now. Will come in white and black. Changes to Mail, VIPs will be able to be designated. In iOS 6 there will be more carosel at the top in apps. All price ranges will be covered in the phone roll out that will be with Sprint, ATT and Verizon in the U.S. And there will be a new music player. And there will be new earbuds too, completely redesigned and called ear pods. The Foo Fighters who performed at the announcement event think this is all great… of course I am sure they were paid too. And gamers rejoice, there will be a new iPod Touch as well. And do I have to even say that phone and touch' have retina display?

——————————————-

So I brought you this brief look into what is coming down the pike as everything will be changing and we don't know what kind of interoperability there will be between apps you may have at this point and how interaction with the new version operating system, iOS 6. Just a “heads up” for you.

I will be expecting some appy glitches for the next few months until all the apps you find you cannot live without have been updated to iOS5.

What sad news to hear about the diplomats etc. What a scary times we are living in.
I just got an iPad, but haven’t gotten an iPhone yet. I want one, but my brother told me to wait unit the new one comes out. I can’t wait to hear all about it.

The world has always been a scary place, for different reasons. I can’t wait to get an iPhone. I won a blackberry torch at blogger|bet in 2011 and have been using that, but soon… very soon I hope to have one so my reviews can cover apps for the iphone as well as iPad.
