B is for Bud

I know, I know, today is supposed to be “G” In the A to Z challenge. I did things out of sequence the first couple days and I will probably do so again. Rules are for bending in fun challenges, not for stressing over. So Google SEO took the place of “B” a few days ago. Today I decided to do “B” but a sinus headache is interfering with everything today, including my ability to think.
Hubby solved the problem for me when he came back from the grocery with a rose BUD.

Isn’t that sweet? I was napping and in he strolled with pretty pink rose bud in a vase that he placed next to the bed. Then he made egg lemon soup from scratch! It was yummy.
I think we are settling into the empty nest phase of our lives nicely.

Very sweet. Agree — you are settling in nicely. Also love your “I make the rules” approach to A to Z lol. Sweet!
