Pit stop here in Beloit, Wisconsin. I’m trying to NOT think about Scott Walker. We asked a friendly Democrat at the gas station where a good place to eat would be and he said Culver’s.
I got a pork tenderloin and cheese curds. I’m in heaven! The cole slaw is really good too. And the coffee has real half and half to accompany it. I am definitely in dairy land.
I so wanted to get a breaded tenderloin sandwich when I was in Columbia City, Indiana yesterday but the Northside Grill was not open when I passed through so I was incredibly sad as they have the world’s best tenderloin sandwich there. But this stop makes up for it. Almost.
The Belvedere Assembly Plant just down the road from here, Beloit, was in operation today. That is a good economic sign, isn’t it?
There is a really cute puppy right outside the window too!
