The A to Z Blogging Challenge Occurs in the Month of April

I have been blogging since the last millenium. I remember first participating and completing the A to Z Blogging Challenge in 2012 via my Reason Creek blog.  In 2014 I started a new project that incorporates all the passions about which I research and write and return to over and over and which, through the use of mind mapping, I determined all fell under the rubric of The Women’s Legacy Project.  To get content up for WLP, the challenge proved a godsend although I suppose I officially failed the challenge per completion.  But it provided motivation.  Since that time I have started the challenge each year.  I finished it 3 of the 4 years.

From Nancy Drew, to the 1920s Weimar Republic, to Labradoodles, to the Dalai Lama, there were in-depth posts delivered up for the A to Z Challenge by some excellent writers. These blogs were among my favorites which I could comment upon.  There were many that I read but it was only a couple days before the challenge finished up that I figured out why I was unable to log in to comment on WordPress blogs.   So now I have lots of visiting and commenting to catch up on as we do our Road Trip.

My Personal Reflection on  the Challenge

This year the challenge for me personally was to learn some new techniques for social media linked to blog posts, and to overcome some glitches that had crept up on me in the last couple years.
The challenge I gave myself was to learn to create a template that could be used as an image in each post which I could post to Pinterest and to my business Facebook page.  I was quite happy with what I came up with.
The largest number of the bloggers who visited seemed attracted my post on Barbie.
